The absolutely iconic Tess Daly is best-known for her presenting role on Strictly Come Dancing, for which she and co-presenter Claudia Winkleman were made Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in June 2025. Outside of the show, she runs her own luxury swimwear brand, acts as an ambassador for Vitabiotics and The Prince's Trust, and is a patron of the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. However, away from her incredibly busy life in the public eye, Tess, 51, is a doting mother to two teenage daughters - 20-year-old Pheobe and 15-year-old Amber - whom she shares with her husband of 22 years, Vernon Kay, who has his own regular BBC spot as a Radio 2 presenter.
Though Tess and Vernon's girls live life out of the spotlight for the most part, their eldest, Phoebe, has been known to accompany them to events and snippets of their family life and has been shared on the famous couple's respective Instagram accounts. The blonde beauty is the image of her famous mother, unlike other children of famous couples, Phoebe once revealed that growing up she had no idea her parents were famous, telling the Sun that she "thought everyone's job was filmed." But that likely changed when she started stepping out with her parents at high-profile events, which started in her later teenage years, Vernon and Tess, wanting to shield their girls from the spotlight until they felt they could cope. "Phoebe is very mature, I've got confidence she will know how to deal with it." he said. Now, Phoebe has been everywhere from film premieres to Wimbledon, with her sister Amber following closely behind her.

Back in July, Phoebe enjoyed an incredibly fun summer outing with her superstar parents, attending the Henley festival. "About last night," Tess wrote on Instagram, alongside a selection of photos and videos of the evening.

"I remember silently sobbing all the way back down the motorway, because she’s my baby, my first-born. I’m her best friend, really. It broke my heart," she said.
"Every step along the journey of parenting has been precious, because I know one day they’ll grow up and leave, and I’m not even ready to think about that yet.
