Stealing the show

Before taking their seats, Princess Charlotte and Prince George were seen politely greeting King Felipe VI of Spain with warm smiles.
Princess Charlotte couldn't hide her excitement as she gasped in shock during a tense rally – her wide-eyed reaction perfectly reflecting the tension of the game.
Prince George looked every bit the focused young royal as he watched the match intently, his serious expression showing just how invested he was in the action.
With temperatures rising on and off the court, Princess Charlotte gave a very relatable royal moment as she cooled herself down with a quick fan.
Similarly, Prince George took a quick break to sip his drink and cool down – even royal spectators need a moment to recharge during a gripping Wimbledon final!
The young royal Charlotte couldn't hide her feelings as she pulled a very relatable face during a tense moment on court.
Prince George and Prince William shared a special moment as they chatted with wildlife presenter Steve Backshall ahead of the match.

In another sweet mother-daughter moment, Charlotte was seen fanning mum Princess Kate to help her cool down.
Kate returns to present the winner’s trophy
The Princess of Wales is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. As expected, she will present the trophy to the winner of Sunday’s final.
Kate also attended Saturday’s Ladies’ Final, where she presented the championship trophy to Iga Swiatek. The Polish player won the title after a swift victory over Amanda Anisimova.
The match lasted a record-breaking 57 minutes. Kate consoled Anisimova at the prize presentation and offered some quiet words of encouragement after having lost the final 6-0, 6-0.

Kate led the way, dressed in her striking cobalt blue midi dress, as William guided George and Charlotte to their seats. George looked smart in a navy suit and tie, while Charlotte wore a cream summer dress with a delicate black trim detail.
The royal family took time to greet stewards and guests on their way through the stands. Guests in the Royal Box were seen applauding the family’s arrival as they settled in for the final match of the tournament.
The moment marked a rare public outing for George and Charlotte together. Both children appeared confident and composed as they joined their parents for one of the most high-profile events of the summer.
King Felipe VI makes surprise appearance in the Royal Box
There was another royal in attendance for the final day of Wimbledon 2025, as King Felipe VI of Spain joined the crowd in the Royal Box. The Spanish monarch, 56, was spotted watching on as Carlos Alcaraz faced Italy’s Jannik Sinner in the Gentlemen’s Singles Final.
King Felipe looked relaxed as he took his seat just before the match began. His appearance comes as Alcaraz, one of Spain’s biggest sporting stars, aimed to defend his Wimbledon title.
The King’s presence added an international royal touch to Centre Court, where he was seen warmly greeting guests and engaging in conversation ahead of the match. It is not the first time King Felipe has supported Spanish athletes on the global stage, having previously cheered on national teams and sports figures at major events.
His attendance at the final follows a growing royal presence at this year’s Championships, with multiple members of the British Royal Family appearing throughout the fortnight.
Emotional exchange after the Ladies’ Final
Speaking about meeting Kate, Anisimova said: "It was such an honour to meet her. She definitely had a few things to say that were making me emotional again."
"She was really kind and she told me to keep my head high," the 23-year-old added.
Swiatek also spoke about the special moment: "It was surreal. I’m a big fan of the royal family so it was amazing... I really appreciated that."
A busy week for the Princess
Earlier in the week, Kate also attended day 13 of the Championships in a cream Self-Portrait dress. She met eight-year-old Lydia Lowe, who performed the coin toss for the women’s wheelchair final.
Lydia told the Princess: "Don’t be nervous. Take deep breaths." Kate smiled and thanked her, replying: "Take deep breaths, okay, I’ll remember that. Thank you."
Lydia was representing the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust and was praised for her confidence and strength after recovering from a brain injury earlier this year.
Other royals in the Royal Box
Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, were also seen in the Royal Box earlier in the week. Duchess Sophie and the Duchess of Gloucester were in attendance as well.
The Princess of Wales has long been a staple at the Wimbledon finals. Last year, she presented the winner's trophy to Carlos Alcaraz following his win over Novak Djokovic.
In 2023, she attended with Princess Charlotte, who joined her mother for her first official visit to Centre Court. Charlotte sat alongside Kate and smiled as she watched the final with her older brother.
More to come from the Wales family?
The Wales children have appeared at more public engagements this year, including Trooping the Colour and the Easter service at Windsor. Sunday's appearance at Wimbledon continues that trend.
With Kate gradually returning to public duties following her cancer diagnosis, her family appearances have drawn particular attention. Supporters welcomed her presence and praised her for staying engaged during her recovery.
While the temperatures on Centre Court reached highs of 29°C, the royal family looked comfortable and composed. George and Charlotte appeared to enjoy the match, chatting quietly with their parents throughout.
Kate will formally present the Gentlemen’s Singles trophy at the end of today's final. All eyes will be on Centre Court once again as the tournament comes to a close.
